90s Catwalk

90% of my inspiration comes from the past, and as you may have guessed I have a real love for the 90s era. The supermodels were, and still are Sass Queens. Naomi, Cindy, Linda, Claudia and co. all had strong personalities and were bursting with power.

I came across this issue of Vogue Italia which showed the trends from the Catwalk shows during 1994-95. I have picked out some of my favourite spreads with the best catwalk collections. Check out the Sass Queens rocking lots of colourful and playful trends! That's a whole load of #sassyinspo…

21 from Dublin Ireland

What would you like to do once you’ve graduated?

Move to New York & assist the style editor of the Fader Chioma Nnadi

Do you have any style icons, if so, who?

I've been obsessed with M.I.A ever since I was in secondary school, hero!

If you could spend one day doing whatever the hell you want, what would you do?

I would go to America & buy all the sick clothes I wanted from Odd Future's store, along with Moschino, Jean Charles de Castelbajac & all the other designers I can't afford yet. Then go for dinner with M.I.A, Jean Michel Basquiat & Jim Morrison & lastly go to Wrestlemania with my mam, my bro & Kenan & Kel cause those two would end up getting into some sort or predicament.

Fresh Princess

Seeing as I like to be a little different, I thought- why not produce two lookbooks ready for Sassy World's launch? So I did!

As you can tell, this lookbook has completely different vibes to our first one yet still has a whole load of Sassiness. This time I had an amazing team of creatives helping me out which included:

Sassy World's First Ever Lookbook

Here we have Sassy World's first EVER Lookbook which was directed, styled and photographed by me (Helena) and our model was 21-year-old Sassy Girl; Lillie- Mae Ruttle who also happens to be my bestest lady friend. 

Lillie-Mae, or Maidie to you and I, is hot property around where we live for obvious reasons but her kind-hearted and humorous personality is another reason why she is my model muse. I wanted to capture Maidie's personality and Sassy Vibes in this Lookbook and we had such a fun day mucking about around her street.
